We’ve got a PR ready in the cwl-utils repo - cwl-input-schema implementation by alexiswl · Pull Request #288 · common-workflow-language/cwl-utils (github.com) for generating JSON schemas for CWL inputs (and can handle complex record use cases too).
I can’t find any workflow inputs of yours that take a record specifically (since I think these configurations are imbedded into files), but if you have an example you’d like to see I’m happy to give it a try!
